Medical Assistant

We are patient-centered, business-minded practice that recognizes the need to grow and expand to keep up with the current and growing population in Lincoln.

We balance this while creating a truly fun, family-oriented place to work. We offer a 36-hour work week with a day off during the week for "you" time

We are the largest independent Family Practice in Lincoln, caring for Lincoln patients for over 40 years. We have 2 locations, employ 13 providers, and will soon be adding additional providers/locations.

Primary Care Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.

Responsibilities include:

· Assisting physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures.

· Recording patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.

· Preparing and maintaining examination rooms and medical equipment

· Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.

· Performing basic laboratory test and specimen collection.

· Providing patient education and instructions on medications and treatments.

· Managing electronic health records and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

· Current Medical Assistant certification.

· Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
