Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A qualified Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support within an elementary school caseload. This contract position is located in Smithville, TN, and requires prior experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
Responsibilities for this position include:

* Assessing and developing treatment plans for students with various occupational therapy needs
* Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to implement effective interventions
* Supporting students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities to enhance their academic success
* Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
* Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to student goal setting

Desired qualifications and skills:

* Valid Occupational Therapy license
* Proven experience in school-based occupational therapy, specifically within elementary caseloads
* Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for diverse learning environments
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices is a plus
