Shift: Days, 6a-2:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend REQ: On call 2 or 3 weekend every 6 weeks
Is on-call REQ? Yes, overnight call shifts per week

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience, but will take 1 year with STRONG CVOR skills
  • Must be certified
  • Must have attended an accredited school for surgical technology
  • STRONG cardiovascular skills
  • CVOR experience required
  • Open heart experience needed, 
  • BLS
  • Scrub experience would be ideal

  • Ratios: 1:4-5
  • Charting: Cerner
  • First-timers accepted
  • Total Staffed Beds: 449
  • Scrub Color: Light Blue (provided by hospital)
  • Locals accepted: No, must live outside of 50 miles
  • CVOR candidates may be floated to the main OR if there aren’t any heart cases
