Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions summary: This position is for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician providing locum tenens coverage in a hospital setting, handling 24-hour call duties including deliveries, C-sections, and emergency procedures. Responsibilities include managing inpatient and ER consults as well as supporting nursing staff with emergent clinical questions. The role requires an active Virginia medical license and DEA registration, with travel and malpractice insurance provided. Our HCA facility in Richmond, VA is in need of locums coverage for their OBGYN department. Coverage is for 24 hour call. They average 11 patients per day. Call coverage will include fielding emergent questions from the NPs on staff, deliveries, C-sections or other complications requiring an inpatient setting, ER consults, floor consults, L&D, and emergent procedures. An active Virginia license and DEA are needed. We provide full travel and medical malpractice insurance.
