Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg - Floor 2

Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length : 26 weeks

Weekend Requirement: yes-  if there is a need
Holiday Requirement: yes-  if there is a need

Requirements :

  • ID License
  • Must have 1 year of experience
  • Must have experience with post op surgical patients
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Other Details:

  • Will float  to other MedSurg floors
  • Okay with first time traveler but would like first time traveler to have more than 1 year of experience
  • Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:05
  • # of Beds: 36
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Surgical patients with mix of Medsurg. Any surgical patient that would stay overnight or longer- total joints, appys, choles, simple back surgeries etc. Medical and cardiopulmonary- CHF, COPD, pneumonia, psych, dementia, COVID, etc. Only patients they really don't take are strokes
  • Radius rule of 50 miles
