The hospital features modern facilities including three brand new endoscopy suites with skilled and efficient endoscopy teams. The facility maintains an inpatient census averaging 28-30 MSP patients and 3-4 in ICU/IMCU with six ICU beds and 8 IMCU beds available.Opportunity:Board Certified - Internal Medicine - GastroenterologyJob Details:• Week on/week off schedule with 8am-5pm day shifts, no call requirements• Focus on clinic and scheduled procedures only with APC support in clinic• Flexible schedule with preference for 1 day in clinic and 4 procedure days• Perform approximately 10-14 procedures per day in state-of-the-art endoscopy suites• ERCP and EUS not required at this facility• Anesthesia available for conscious sedation on certain days• Skills preferred include upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision• Additional preferred skills: esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, liver biopsy• Experience with flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy preferred• Day 1 orientation with EPIC support provided• Opportunity could be split between 2-3 providers to achieve 1.0 FTE coverage• Act 10 is acceptable• Must maintain ACLS and BLS certifications• Board certification required with approximately 90-day credentialing timeframeCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
