Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with acute illness, trauma, or critical conditions. Manage patient care for diverse diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma cases. Mix and administer medications; assist with respiratory equipment and intubations as needed. Administer and titrate IV drips such as Insulin, Heparin, Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Propofol. Collaborate with ER physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams. Support and assist with codes, traumas, and emergency procedures. Document all care accurately using Meditech EMR. Float as needed to Medical-Surgical or behavioral support areas. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required. Strong medication administration and critical care skills. Must be able to interpret EKG strips and assist with respiratory procedures. Previous travel experience preferred, but strong candidates without will be considered. Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Must be within a 50-mile radius and not employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities. Certifications & Licensure: Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS. Preferred: NRP, TNCC. Active North Dakota RN License or Compact License (required). EMR: Meditech. Trauma Level: Critical Access Hospital (CAH). Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7a–7p / 7p–7a). Weekend requirement: 2 of every 6 weekends. Holiday coverage required (RTO must be approved in advance). Scrub color: Any color. Orientation: Minimum of 2 days.
