Looking for a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician in Johnson City, NY. Dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. Job Description:
As a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic team. You will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain the best image quality.
  • Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing preliminary findings to physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures and findings.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedure.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography- Echo) certification is required.
  • Echocardiogram and TEE experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
  • Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and imaging software.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
