Urgent Care Physician at The Talent Society summary: Peachtree Immediate Care is seeking a board-certified Urgent Care Physician for locum coverage across over 50 locations in the Atlanta area. The role involves providing urgent medical care during 12-hour shifts, treating a variety of common conditions and performing procedures such as suturing and splinting. Candidates must have at least two years of urgent care experience, a Georgia medical license, DEA registration, and be comfortable working independently with patients of all ages. We are working with Peachtree Immediate Care in the greater Atlanta, GA area and they are seeking Urgent Care locum coverage. Peachtree Immediate Care serves the community by providing extended operating hours weekdays and weekends. Peachtree Immediate CareUrgent Care50 + Locations Across ATL Urgent Care • Seeking Coverage starting in September • Shift Time: 8a-8p (12hr shifts) • Over 50+ Locations to choose from • Open 7 days a week • Average Patients: 4 per hour • Must be comfortable with all ages • 75% are new patients • Working as a solo provider • Must have at least 2 years of UC experience • Typical Cases/Procedures: Flu, Lacerations, Sore Throat, UTI, Diarrhea, Stitch Check, Med Reactions, STD Treatment, suturing, splinting, etc. • Also must be able to recognize and read EKG changes and X-Rays • Lab review is required • Drug screen is done by the MA • Must be Board Certified • Must have GA license and DEA • DOT is preferred but not required • EMR: Practice Velocity Best, Maci Matherne Recruiter The Talent Society o. f. w.
