Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) at Epic Travel Staffing summary:

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, for a duration of 13 weeks. The role requires an IN state license and a minimum of one year of experience in an acute hospital setting, with preferred certifications in Manual Therapy and Lymphedema. Responsibilities include evaluating patients across various acuities, developing plans of care, and providing therapeutic activities to improve functional outcomes.

Requirements:
  • IN License
  • Minimum of 1 year OT at Acute Hospital
  • BLS
  • NBCOT 
  • Manual Therapy, Lymphedema certifications/licenses preferred
  • Cerner Experience preferred

Inpatient acute care rehab team of 19 professionals. Expect to see patients in all levels of acuity from ICU to progressive care units with diagnoses of CABG & other cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacement, fracture repairs, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson, ambulation, etc. OT is expected to evaluate, develop and follow POC that may include ADL training, therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities to improve function and asses appropriateness of discharge disposition recommendations on daily basis.
