Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) at Epic Travel Staffing summary:

As a Travel Nurse specializing in Telemetry and Stepdown care, I provide critical support in a fast-paced surgical IMCU setting. With over two years of acute care experience and proven skills in telemetry rhythm interpretation, I deliver high-quality patient care while adapting to varied shift schedules. My role includes adherence to licensing requirements and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient management during shifts lasting up to 36 hours per week.

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Stepdown - Menino 3 Surgical IMCU

Shift: Rotating D/N, 12x3, 36hrs per week, E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • MA License 
  • 2+ years recent acute care experience
  • Must have surgical stepdown experience at a level 1 trauma center
  • IMCU/Stepdown experience
  • Auto med dispensing and more than 1 previous travel assignment
  • Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Tertiary facility experience preferred
Other Details:
  • Tele test and CC Med test on day 1
  • 38 beds with an average patient ratio of 1:3, 1:4 or 1:4-5 if MedSurg patients
