Surgical Technologist

The Surgical Technologist in the OR for General Surgery is responsible for maintaining an aseptic environment and ensuring all necessary instrumentation, supplies, and equipment are readily available for surgical procedures. This part-time role involves working overnight shifts and performing critical tasks to assist with room turnover between scheduled cases. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, CST certification, and strong critical thinking skills, preferably with some prior surgical tech experience.

Job Description:
Surgical Technologist will facilitate the surgical care maintaining an aseptic environment. S/He will insures that all required instrumentation, supplies and equipment are readily available. In addition will assists with room turnover between schedule cases.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:High school diploma or GED required
Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program
Minimum Requirements:
CST certification
Critical thinking skills
Must be able to work in stressful environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of surgical tech or OR work experience
Previous surgical technologist experience preferred
Manual dexterity
