Clinical Nurse III- D4E: Hematology/Oncology

The Clinical Nurse III in Hematology/Oncology is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing the care of patients throughout their treatment. This role focuses on ensuring smooth transitions of care within the acute care environment while providing compassionate patient care alongside the caregiving team. The nurse also engages with various stakeholders, including patients, hospital staff, and referring facilities, to maintain high standards of care and support during the care episode.

coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate
patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the
inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
Salary Range: $36.73 - $60.93
The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
