  • Must have: Drive to provide highest quality of care to our laboring patients. Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference.
  • Advanced skills needed: Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful
  • Procedures performed on unit: circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxide
  • Schedule Information
  • Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month
  • Floating policy: can float to m/b or outside department to task
  • Patient Experience requirements: Remain above 75%

  • Number of Beds: 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED
  • Patient Ratios: 1-2
  • Unit staffing description: Unit Secretary and scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7, OBGYN on call
