Licensed Practical Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Genesis HealthCare, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare and improving the lives of patients and their families. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, wound care nurses, social workers, dieticians, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and other to achieve the best patient outcomes and quality of life.
Skills required: Excellent documentation and assessment skills. Ability to mentor and train floor nirses on HNF documentation. Great communication skills. Attention to detail. NM Medicaid HNF experience is not required but would be a plus. Specific job duties:Nurse will document where neededNurse will follow up on daily nursing and templates are follow through Nurse will provide training for the nurses with all shifts including weekendsNurse will provide follow up to documentation issues with Administrator Why Genesis?

Qualifications:
* Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
* Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
* Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
* Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
