Avera is currently seeking Respiratory Therapist Assistant looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

  • The Respiratory Therapist Assistant is accountable for administering respiratory therapy according to the Respiratory Services Standards of Care and evaluating the effectiveness of that therapy. 

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 0-6 month experience preferred.
  • Required to be currently enrolled in an A.M.A. approved school of Respiratory Therapy.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Required to possess a temporary Respiratory Therapist License or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) for the state of South Dakota.

Work Schedule

  • Day/Night shifts as needed, ability to work weekends and holidays as needed; PRN
