Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) at Epic Travel Staffing summary:

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a Travel RN specialized in Telemetry/PCU to work in their float pool. The position requires an AZ RN license, at least one year of PCU experience, and the ability to interpret cardiac strips. Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool (Staffing Services)

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW, Holiday rotation

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • AZ RN License
  • At least 1 year in PCU setting
  • Nurses must be able to interpret strips
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Other Details:

  • Charting System: Cerner
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: PCU 1:4 MedSurg Tele 1:5-6
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients Geriatric patients, ortho patients, strong cath lab program so post procedural patients, caring for groin sites in stepdown unit. Post MI, post Cardiac Cath. CABG post-op day 3-4
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Currently - solid color professional scrubs. October will allign with Dignity guideline which will be Navy scrubs
