Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - Stepdown Unit 3W

Shift: Days, 6:45a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, with 30 min paid break

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend and holiday requirements

Requirements:

  • MS license
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • Strongly prefer 400+bed or level 2 trauma experience
  • Prior travel experience preferred

Other:

  • Nurse: Patient ratio - 1:4 
  • Float as needed between units 3W (28 beds), 2W (28 beds), 3 Central (16 beds)
  • Patient care modality: Respiratory failure, COPD, Kidney failure, overdoses, sepsis. 2 West also has vascular pre and post op patients. Age range 21+ All titratable drips, IV insertions, central line management, trach management. Vent types: Baxter IV Pump, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps, Drager Ventilators, Omnicell med cabinet
  • Will be required to take and pass a “pre assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm Strip) test and RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%.
