- - Common diagnosis: CHF, strokes, chest pain, Dm, PN, COPD, detox, underlying cardiac conditions. Cath lab recoveries.
- - Experience: Radial band and femoral cath recoveries.
- - Are RN's required to titrate drips: No
- - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Lasix, heparin, bumex, protonix, octreotide.
- - Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: RNs read tele. They do have a centralized tele tech that helps monitor.
- - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Team Lead during the day- does not take patients. Charge on nights/weekends/holidays. Charge takes patients.
- - Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes. 1:10-12.
- - RT/Equipment: Cpap/bipap intermittent only.
- Job Requirements
- Must have EPIC experience
- Preferred travel experience
- Must have IL license in hand
- Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hours 5-5 TL does schedule. Try to accommodate if it works for staffing. If starting middle of the schedule, you will be filled in.
- Weekend Requirements: Every other.
- Holiday Requirements: Evey other.
- Is there Call or a Standby requirement: No
- Floating Requirements: Medical floors/step down to take tele level patients.
- Scrub Color: Caribbean colored scrubs.
- Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 1- 12 hour shift.
- Additional Details
- Facility requires clinical prescreen. If recommended, the hiring manager has 24-hours to accept/decline this candidate. They will not call for a 2nd phone interview
- *Radius Rule: Any clinician with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a rate of $7.00 less than the base rate of their position. *
- BLS; Drivers License required for submission to be considered
- Will accept LOCAL Placements (must live 20 miles from facility)
