Clinical Nurse I- D4E: Hematology/Oncology

The Clinical Nurse I in Hematology/Oncology is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care within an acute care setting. This role involves ensuring the delivery of compassionate and competent care throughout the patient's episode of care, including during transitions and discharge planning. The nurse collaborates with the caregiving team to provide holistic care to patients in various settings, focusing on their needs and progress toward recovery.

transitions within the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and
coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate
patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the
inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
