Position Details: Location: Near Grand Junction, ColoradoDates of Coverage Needed:October 20 (12p) - October 21 (7a) - Prorated 24-hour callOctober 21-25: 8a-5pOctober 25: 5p-7aDecember 2-5: 8a-5p onlyDecember 6-7: 24-hour call and daytime shiftsJanuary 6-19, various shiftsFebruary 1-7: Full coverageAdditional shifts available through early 2025Shift Types:Weekday clinic (8a-5p)Night call (5p-7a)24-hour call on weekends (7a-7a) Job Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology: RequiredColorado Medical License: Preferred; active DEA requiredGastroenterology Fellowship: RequiredExperience: Must be comfortable handling 12-16 scopes per day and managing 10-15 patients per day in clinic.Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC, with mandatory training requirements Additional Information: Scope of Practice: Routine scoping, including EGD, colonoscopy, manometry, and 24-hour PH probes. Providers will work in a combination of clinic, ER, and inpatient settings.Support: Comprehensive support staff including MA, NP/PA, and RN.Call Coverage: Includes night and weekend 24-hour call shifts.Preferred Candidate: Experience in treating patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is preferred but not required.
