The Clinical Nurse I in the Hematology/Oncology department is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care needs throughout their stay. This role includes collaborating with the caregiving team to ensure competent and compassionate patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The nurse focuses on facilitating transitions towards discharge and ensuring that all actions comply with HIPAA regulations for patient information protection.

Hourly Range: $33.00 - $33.99

The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of
assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during
transitions within the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and
coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate
patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the
inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.

The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay.
