The Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown position involves providing care for patients in a stepdown unit, commonly managing complex medical issues. Candidates must possess a Nebraska nursing license, have a minimum of two years of experience, and hold certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS while utilizing the Epic charting system. The role offers comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, and is designed for RNs who can float to various care units as needed.

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU 
Shift: Days/ 6:30a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs/week, EOWLength: 13 Weeks
Holiday Requirements: As needed to meet unit needs
Requirements: 
  • NE license
  • 2 years' experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Charting System- EPICOther Details:Can float to MedSurg, Inpatient Rehab, or Skilled CareNurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
Common diagnoses/Types of patients : Young adults through geriatrics, sepsis, STEMI, CHF, chest pain, COVID, stroke, renal failure, COPD, DKA, patients with complex medical issues including multisystem failureRadius Rule: 50 miles
