Job Description:
Petree Construction is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Fort Smith, AR. In this role, you will oversee the successful execution of construction projects, working closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors. Your key responsibilities will include managing construction schedules, estimating project costs, reviewing submittal documents, and maintaining day-to-day communication with project superintendents.
Key Responsibilities:
Correspondence Management: Maintain regular communication with project owners and architects to ensure project alignment and resolve any issues.
Solicitations and Estimating: Manage project estimations and solicitations to determine cost structures, bids, and scope.
Document Review: Review submittal documents for compliance, accuracy, and to ensure they align with project specifications.
Construction Schedule Management: Oversee and manage construction schedules to ensure all projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
Day-to-Day Communication: Act as the main point of contact for project superintendents, providing support and resolving any issues as they arise.
Track project progress and proactively identify potential risks or delays, providing solutions as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, etc.).
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of electronic devices and computer applications such as Microsoft Office products.
Experience in construction processes and familiarity with construction codes and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience managing project budgets and estimating project costs.
Familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., Procore, etc.).
