  • Will take weeknight/weekend call
  • Responsible for a variety of technical duties necessary to the acquisition of echocardiographic examinations and maintenance of the normal operation of the adult echocardiography laboratory
  • Performs and processes echocardiographic examinations of all testing modalities including two-dimensional, three dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures and exercise techniques
  • Performs emergency procedures when necessary; transports equipment and patients
  • Analyzes and files echocardiographic data utilizing digital computer analysis systems
  • Assists in developing and maintaining internal training programs and in technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques
  • Assists in approved research activities
  • Performs mobile Echo service as directed
  • Interprets and follow policies and guidelines to define procedures and meet goals and deadlines
  • Work is typically performed in a clinical environment
  • Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures
  • Job Requirements
  • Graduate of Cardiac Ultrasound Training Program- (is required)
  • ARDMS or RCS Certification
  • Travel to provide staffing coverage at outreach clinic sites as needed
