The Correctional Nurse LPN Weekend Days position offers part-time and PRN opportunities for flexible scheduling at the Gilmer County Jail. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, administering medications, and performing emergency interventions while adhering to correctional regulations. Online scheduling exchange will allow you to be a part of the solution and pick up PRN needs in addition to regular part time work. Teamwork is a fundamental part of all great nursing programs.     Come be a part of our team at:    Location: Gilmer County Jail Open Position:  PT LPN Schedule: Every Other Saturday & Sunday 5:30a - 6p   Sign-on & Retention Bonus   Duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) 
  • Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  • Follow through with established treatment plans
  • Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
