Growing together.Network Engineer responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of network equipment in 2 Dc locations as well as numerous remote clinics. Need to be able to support remote network connections between sites, business partners and Optum Technologies. Some evening work required for network changes when the clinics are closed.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED (or higher)5+ years of experience with networking protocols and expertise in TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP and VLANs5+ years of routing & switching experience configuring and maintaining Cisco routers, switches and load balancers5+ years of experience with wireless & LAN/WAN technologies and understanding of Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and enterprise LAN/WAN setups5+ years of experience with troubleshooting & diagnostics and the ability to identify and resolve network performance issues3+ years of experience with network security and knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention and encryption2+ years of experience with network hardware installation, rack and stackAbility to work nights and weekends as part of on-call rotationAbility to travel between clinical sitesAccess to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s licensePreferred Qualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or equivalentCurrent industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+ CertificationExperience with Palo Alto firewallsExperience with network access controls e.g. Cisco ISEExperience with cloud technologies Azure and AWSVoIP & Collaboration Tools: Experience managing Cisco Unified Communications or Microsoft Teams VoiceThe salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
