Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment Location: York, Pennsylvania (17403) – Pennsylvania nursing jobs Facility: Level I Trauma Center, General Operating Room (excluding open heart and neurosurgery) Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract Start Date: November 24, 2025 End Date: March 30, 2026 Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050-$2110 Weekend Coverage: 4-5 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (day, evening, or night) Call Requirement: 4-5 calls within a 6-week matrix, 30-minute callback response Holiday Coverage: At least 1 major holiday required Floating: As needed to support patient care Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Level I Trauma nursing experience required; Level II trauma experience (>1 year) accepted Previous travel nursing experience required Active, unencumbered RN license (no license hits) BLS certification (AHA or ARC only) EPIC charting system experience preferred Proficiency with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required; DV5 Da Vinci robot familiarity a plus Ability to scrub and circulate independently Competency in all specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac/open heart), Trauma COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) Tobacco and fragrance-free healthcare facility Operating Room RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy general operating room Scrub and circulate for diverse surgical specialties: robotic, orthopedic, general, gynecologic, urologic, bariatric, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and trauma procedures Operate and maintain proficiency with Da Vinci Xi and DV5 robotic surgical systems Respond to call shifts and provide timely callback within 30 minutes Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, rapid response) Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system Adhere to facility policies, including tobacco and fragrance-free guidelines Care for patients across all age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics Participate in department holiday and weekend coverage as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team in York, PA and take the next step in your travel nursing career Benefits401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision About GHRFor over 30 years, GHR Healthcare has helped talented professionals find fulfilling roles in hospitals, clinics, and facilities nationwide.
