Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting located in Sparks, NV. This contract position is for the current school year and primarily supports two students with individualized education program (IEP) plans requiring OT services.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver occupational therapy interventions aligned with students IEP goals.
* Provide approximately 150 minutes of monthly services, initially higher to accommodate compensatory services totaling 450 minutes for one student.
* Document progress and communicate effectively with educational staff and families.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development and learning.
Desired Qualifications:
* Valid Occupational Therapist license.
* Experience providing OT services in educational settings for K-12 students.
* Ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs.
* Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements.
