Market Development Specialist

The Market Development Specialist at SERVPRO focuses on building relationships with Key Account Clients to enhance customer service and brand awareness within the insurance industry. This role involves regional marketing, program management to grow revenues, and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met. A successful candidate will possess strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to personal growth.

Job Summary
The Market Development Specialist is expected to build profitable relationships with Key Account Clients and ensure that all SERVPRO customers receive quality customer service. Through relationship building, SERVPRO’s brand name awareness, enterprise capability and capacity will increase throughout the insurance industry, which will increase Call Volume and revenue for our franchise community.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Regional Marketing:
- Develop relationships with Client field claims personnel and promote partnerships with Trainers and Franchises.
- Tactical Implementation of Program.
- Develop approved SMR Marketing Tools and related talking points.
- Develop approved National Accounts Managers’ Talking Points.
- Program Management:
- Grow Total Gross Revenues and National Call Center Referrals.
- Support and Quality Contracts and/or Bulletins that provide adequate ROI (to be defined) over life of agreement.
- Ensure Franchise Performance meets and/or exceeds client expectations.
- Validate the program performance of SERVPRO via Claims Information Center and other available reporting tools.
- Serve as Liaison to SERVPRO stakeholders, including Operations and trainers, to ensure elevated issue resolution actions plans are in place to meet performance
- Communication Management:
- Key Accounts communications, both internal and external, are professional and exhibit good customer service.
- Issue/Claim Resolution Management
- Personal Growth: As a team member of Servpro Industries, Inc., it is vital that you are continuing to increase your knowledge and education. Regular personal growth is vital to your future performance, and you must be personally investing an effort into your self-improvement plan.
- Convention Assistance: Each member of the National Accounts Team will have an assigned role, as a part of ensuring the company’s National Convention is a beneficial as possible to our Franchise community. Specific assignments will be clarified for each person.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
- Five (5) years of successful sales experience preferably in the insurance industry.
- Experience in the development and use of automated information report tools (i.e. Microsoft CRM)
- Experience in the development and use of automated information report tools.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft
- Developing and monitoring key measurements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related concentration is preferred.
- Ability to travel, up to 50% as required for business needs.
