Our client, Player One Amusement Group has an immediate opening for the position of Arcade Technician/Installer in Charlotte, North Carolina

 

Player One Amusement Group employs over 500 people in 21 offices throughout Canada and the United States.  One of North America’s leading providers of interactive video, redemption, amusement gaming and vending equipment, it specializes in solution servicing and design for a wide range of customers in the theatrical exhibition vertical as well as community-based entertainment destinations such as bowling centres, restaurants, arcades, shopping centres and water parks. 

 

 

Requirements

  • Must be able to drive a 26’ Box truck and pass corresponding physical exam
  • Some overnight travel involved.  Most days report to our office in Charlotte.
  • Must have physical capacity to install large equipment, assisting in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Experience using various standard shop handtools

 

What you need to be a successful member of this team:

 

  • Process New Equipment orders for shipment, including uncrating and setup
  • Installation of debit card swipe systems
  • Repair & refurbish Used Equipment in preparation for sale
  • Troubleshoot and repair or replace component parts
  • Assist customers on the phone with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment problems
  • Make on site service calls if needed, travel will be required
  • Participate as part of installation crew sent on site to install equipment. These trips will sometimes require travel and overnight stays.
  • Drive a 26’ box truck and assist with delivery of equipment, must pass DOT physical to drive this vehicle. Will be required to drive box truck to installations.
  • Forklift operation required and able to move equipment as needed
  • Assist in loading and unloading equipment in trucks as needed
  • Regular hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Mon-Fri., occasional overtime will be required

 

Bonus Qualifications (Not Required but Preferred)

  • Experience working in an arcade or performing technical work on arcade equipment
  • Box truck driving experience
  • Equipment Installation experience
