The top creative and technical minds could work anywhere. So why are so many of them choosing Alludo? Here are three reasons:

  1. This is the moment. It’s an exciting time at Alludo, with new leadership, a refreshed brand, and a whole new approach to changing the way the world works. We’re at the forefront of a movement, and we want you to ride this wave with us.
  2. We want you to be you. Too often, companies tell you about their culture and then expect you to fit it. Our culture is built from the people who work here. We want you to feel safe to be who you are, take risks, and show us what you’ve got.
  3. It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Alludo, we’re serious about empowering people to work when and how they want. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way.

Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the DevOps Engineer role and see if we’re destined to be together.

As A DevOps Engineer, You Will:

  • Be part of a global, multi-cloud DevOps/SRE team with team members around the world from North America to Europe and Africa.
  • Be passionate about all things DevOps, in particular automation and everything-as-code, and influence adoption of modern DevOps practices across Alludo.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar, to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Implement multi-AWS account design patterns to meet security, compliance, and organizational requirements.
  • Scale AWS-based services such as ECS, API Gateway, and step functions to handle increasing loads and traffic.
  • Respond to and resolve complex infrastructure issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
  • Champion security best practices, compliance standards, and access controls for on-prem and cloud environments to safeguard sensitive data in partnership with InfoSec.

What YOU Bring to The Table:

  • Owner: Own the responsibility of ensuring your work is delivered with exceptional quality, self-organizing, seeing project deliverables through end to end.
  • Collaborator: Strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively face to face and with remote folks. Open to walk-in/chat advice, offer help on any DevOps focused topic.
  • Learner: Learning new skills, asking questions, and learning how to troubleshoot problems is more important than having domain expertise in a specific technology.
  • Strong programming skills Python, .NET core, Ruby, or equivalent.
  • Experience with AWS running multiple production workloads.
  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code frameworks.
  • Implementing DevOps processes, practices, and a willingness to build and maintain the necessary infrastructure.

  • Linux and Windows OS expertise.
  • Containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Infrastructure automation frameworks (Github, Ansible, Salt, Artifactory)
  • Infrastructure monitoring solutions (Prometheus, DataDog, etc.)
