Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in SQL for data querying and manipulation, robust knowledge in Azure SQL Administration, and a strong background in various Azure data services. In addition to technical skills, the candidate will capture, review data, and report on any trends and patterns shown. Once the results are analyzed, the Data Analyst will recommend the company's actions to meet their goals.

Create and manage advanced Power BI dashboards to visualize data insights and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Mastery: Utilize advanced SQL skills for complex data querying and manipulation tasks.
• Azure SQL Administration: Manage, configure, and optimize Azure SQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to support ETL processes.
• ETL Processes: Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into target data stores, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Data Lake Management: Leverage knowledge of data lakes, delta lakes, and data warehousing solutions such as Azure Synapse to architect scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Power BI Expertise: Create and manage advanced Power BI dashboards to visualize data insights and support business decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable expertise in SQL for sophisticated data querying and manipulation.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure SQL Administration, including performance optimization, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Proficient in creating and managing data pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
• Skilled in ETL processes and capable of handling diverse data sources.
• In-depth understanding of data lakes, delta lakes, Azure Synapse, and data warehousing principles.
• Expert-level skills in creating Power BI dashboards.

• Familiarity with other Azure data services and tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to identify market opportunities and compile business intelligence information to support recommendations.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Data Analytics

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in a data analyst role, with a specific focus on the Azure ecosystem.
