The Radiation Therapist provides radiation therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of oncologists and managers, ensuring adherence to departmental policies. This role requires a recognized certification and clinical education in radiation therapy and involves patient care and some administrative duties within a medical center. The Radiation Therapist Tech , R.The Radiation Therapist Tech, R.T), will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiation Oncology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. Involves general guidance and direction by the department director, medical direction by the Radiation Oncologist and immediate supervision by the Radiation Oncology Manager.

Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire or,
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
Completion of clinical rotations from an accredited radiation therapy program.
