This part-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field, with certifications such as BLS and preferably ACSM certification. The position is located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center and emphasizes patient education, cardiac medication knowledge, and exercise physiology. Description Provides direct patient care, assists with coordination of patient education and activity planning. Responsible for patient assessment, intervention, evaluation, education and supervision of ECG (telemetry and non-telemetry), and exercise therapy. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1 year experience with emphasis on knowledge of cardiac medication, exercise physiology, nutrition, counseling techniques and patient education.
