Clinical Feeding Specialist

The Clinical Feeding Specialist (CFS) position is an administrative and clinical leadership position that provides clinical oversight for a team of therapists and clients in the Healthy Beginnings program, providing services to children receiving set intensive therapy services. The CFS works closely with the Director of Healthy Beginnings (DOHB) to facilitate day-to-day operations of the Healthy Beginnings program and is responsible for the execution of assessing, designing, and implementing individualized feeding programs for clients in need.

Compensation & Schedules:
- Compensation : We offer guaranteed base salaries with other incentive earning potential, with total compensation packages ranging from $98K - $108K+
- Unlimited Referral Bonuses : Generous referral bonuses - no limitations
- Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour a week position, and hours of work and days are variable between Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:30pm.

Responsibilities:As a Clinical Feeding Specialist, you will:
- Ensure the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
- Comply with all company policies, CFS Manual, while providing service delivery hours and supervision per BACB standards and company policy.
- Conduct family training according to insurance authorization and in adherence to the requirements of the Healthy Beginnings program.
- Conduct intake assessments.
- Supervise assigned team members in all administrative functions and various platforms of VB to include, but not limited to the approval of time sheets, daily schedule, training, and full cycle of admission as it applies to this position.
- Conduct comprehensive feeding assessments to identify specific feeding issues and their underlying causes.
- Utilize various assessment tools and methods, including direct observation, interviews, and data collection, to gather information on clients' feeding behaviors and preferences.
- Develop individualized feeding intervention plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based ABA strategies.
- Create and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to address feeding issues, including increasing food variety, improving oral motor skills, and reducing problematic mealtime behaviors.
- Conduct parent group training events.
- Collaborate with other professionals for coordination of care for each individual client.
- Quarterly evaluations and feedback for assigned staff according to VBC policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
About You:
- You need to have a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
- You need to be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience supervising the implementation of ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs.
- You need to be licensed in the state of Maryland or actively pursuing licensure at the time of hire.
- You need to be dedicated to providing high-quality, outcomes-based care to our clients and their families.
- Previous experience with assessment and treatment of the pediatric feeding disorder population preferred
