- and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to the senior population in our community and surrounding communities. Our therapy department is fully in-house and provides therapists/assistants with flexibility.

Responsibilities:
Helps residents by providing rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction/supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Maintains expected productivity/efficiency set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator. Monitors therapy services to make sure they are performed correctly and provides encouragement when necessary. Maintains patient occupational therapy records by recording resident’s progress and daily notes. Generates revenue by recording billing information of services rendered. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures. Helps keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. Serves and protects the occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. Enhances occupational therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Requirements:
Current Texas licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant New Grads welcome to apply License/Certification: ~ Occupational Therapy Assistant license (Required) Work
