Becton Dickinson seeks a Leader for Demand & Supply Chain Planning to oversee supply chain activities across product platforms, optimize inventory, and achieve business objectives. The role involves leading cross-functional projects, managing forecasting and capacity planning, and serving as a subject matter expert for team guidance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as planning subject matter expert providing team guidance on complex supply chain issues
- Lead cross-functional supply chain projects from planning through execution with alignment and accountability
- Monitor production attainment and proactively communicate supply constraints and risks
- Develop global inventory allocation and production prioritization strategies
- Lead backorder reporting, root-cause analysis, and mitigation planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Solid knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, production planning, and inventory control
- Multi-year manufacturing environment experience coordinating cross-discipline activities
- Advanced Excel proficiency for data manipulation and analysis
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with cross-functional engagement ability
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- ERP systems experience required; Kinaxis system experience preferred
