Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - Cardiac Mixed Acuity (Tele/PCU) - 5E/5C 

Shift : Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW

Length : 13 weeks

Will work 4/6 (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, Christmas Eve, NYE, NY day) if start before 11/28. Will work 3/4 if start after 11/28

Requirements:

  • KY License
  • 2 years of acute care RN experience
  • Diploma or Associate
  • Need to know how to read tele strips
  • Need to be able to titrate medication
  • Norton work history Docusign required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH

Skills required:

• IV insertion

• Blood draws

• PICC/Central Line management:

• Dialysis Fistula: our patients may have these, we would just assess.

• Trach Care

• Epidural/PCA pump

• Feeding tubes

• Continuous bladder irrigation

• Wound vac

Other Details:
  • Common medications given: Cardizem, heparin, amio
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Patient ratio: 1:5
