Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care for patients who have cancer and for those undergoing treatment. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.

Work Shift:

RN-Oncology-ABQ
Associates degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred, with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire. Education agreement contract to be signed upon hire.
*BSN degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program preferred
*State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
*2 years medical surgical or ICU nursing experience preferred,
*Experience in Oncology or Infusion centers preferred.
*Must maintain chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification during employment in Oncology department.
*National Oncology Certification required to be obtained within 2-3 years of hire.
*Maintain educational requirements as per standards related to national oncology accreditations upheld by Cancer Care Services.
