Salary: $93,000 - 133,000 per year Requirements:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications, including architectural design and development
- 8+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and MySQL
- Extensive experience leading teams, including offshore team members, and coordinating delivery
- Experience with AWS log analysis, including CloudWatch, application logs, and monitoring dashboards
- Experience reviewing designs and architecture, and knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline creation; CI/CD experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with modern Java features such as lambdas, collections, and streams; SQL queries, log troubleshooting, performance tuning, and Jenkins/CI/CD processes
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, production support, and troubleshooting
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical decision-making skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science, programming, informatics, or business
- Local to the New York/New Jersey area and available to attend an in-person interview in White Plains, New York
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java applications
- Architect and build microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Develop new applications, components, and modules to meet functional requirements
- Design user interfaces, business rules, system menus, and user reports
- Analyze and troubleshoot AWS application logs to identify and resolve issues
- Monitor production applications, perform root-cause analysis, and identify lasting solutions to recurring incidents
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements
- Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices
- Mentor offshore developers, provide technical leadership, and coordinate project delivery
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture
