Description

Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora

Department: Highly specialized in the care of all solid organ transplants (kidney, liver, pancreas, heart/lung), thoracic surgery, and hepatology. We're pioneers in liver transplantation. We have extensive experience with living donor liver transplants and are the only academic medical center with a dedicated Transplant specialty unit in the Rocky Mountain region.

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Rotating D/N or Nights

Pay: $55.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

13 week assignments available - extension options

Minimum Requirements:

  • CO RN license or eNLC privileges
  • 1-year experience
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

The Travel RN Acute Care Transplant / Thoracic provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing solid organ transplants and thoracic surgery at UCHealth. With a focus on patient wellness and evidence-based practices, RNs in this role are vital to a multidisciplinary team working in high-acuity settings. Candidates must hold a Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges, possess a minimum of one year of experience, and be BLS certified.
