The Clinical Exercise Physiologist provides patient care by assessing, intervening, and educating patients in exercise therapy and cardiac rehabilitation. The role includes monitoring ECG telemetry, coordinating patient education, and supervising exercise interventions with a focus on cardiac health. This part-time position is located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center and requires relevant qualifications in exercise science and cardiac care.
Provides direct patient care, assists with coordination of patient education and activity planning. Responsible for patient assessment, intervention, evaluation, education and supervision of ECG (telemetry and non-telemetry), and exercise therapy.

Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field.
~ 1 year experience with emphasis on knowledge of cardiac medication, exercise physiology, nutrition, counseling techniques and patient education.
Master's Degree in Exercise Science or related field.
Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine
