Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a registered perioperative nurse. The anesthesia technician supports the anesthesia providers by the preparation and set up of appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case. May provide limited patient care as needed by assisting with prepping and opening supplies before surgery.
