Title: Applied AI Engineer
Type: Contract
Location: Tampa, FL Preferred: Tampa or Nashville
Experience: 6 9 years (Advanced to Expert)
Build, integrate, deploy, and support enterprise AI-enabled solutions using LLMs, Generative AI, AI agents, RAG, vector databases, and modern AI orchestration frameworks.
Apply Responsible AI practices and cloud-native engineering to deliver secure, scalable AI applications while leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and delivery quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and operationalize AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.

Build cloud-native AI solutions using Python/.NET, APIs, microservices, Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Foundry, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Apply Responsible AI, security, privacy, model evaluation, and observability practices while continuously evaluating emerging AI technologies and use cases.
