*This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus of $10,000 with a 2 year commitment*

 

Position Highlights:

  • This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus of $10,000 with a 2 year commitment.
  • This position is eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.
  • First UNOS accredited HLA laboratory in South Dakota.
  • First CAP/ISO 15189 Hospital Medical & Anatomic Pathology Certified Laboratory in the country.
  • Currently the longest accredited CAP/ISO 15189 Laboratory in the country.

Job Summary

  • Responsible for expeditious and accurate performance of routine clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate's degree in MLT or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.

  Certification, Licensure, Registration

  • Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT required within 12 months of hire.

Work Schedule

Day Shift, e/o wknd/hol/call; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  

  • $22.00 - $31.75 per hour
