Kiddie Academy of Mountains Edge is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire young minds in Las Vegas, NV This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while leading a classroom with creativity, care, and purpose. Our school has students ages 6 weeks to five years old so ideally we would prefer you are comfortable working with all age groups. We hold WALK IN INTERVIEWS from 10am to 2pm, Monday through Friday. Please stop by during those times and tell Lailah and Meghan you are Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, curriculum-based lesson plans that promote early childhood development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for all students
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Monitor and document children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents
- Build positive relationships with families through regular communication and parent engagement
- Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and academy standards
- Facilitate social, emotional, cognitive, and physical learning activities throughout the day
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or early education setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood curriculum
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet Nevada state childcare licensing requirements
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children
