A CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging using multi-slice CT scanners and related equipment, administering contrast agents as directed by physicians. The role requires formal radiologic technology training and certifications, with responsibilities including patient care, imaging procedures, and maintaining a positive team approach. This position is part of a comprehensive healthcare system providing patient-focused, whole-person care across multiple facilities.
Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Continues to use their radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.
