Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse at a healthcare facility in Kirkland, Washington. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to women during childbirth, including work in a Level 3B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with low acuity infants, and supporting postpartum and pediatric units. The role requires recent high-volume delivery experience and proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); CERT-FHM (intermediate or advanced level acceptable)
- Education Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) license, with compact license accepted
- Location Requirements: Washington State RN license or Compact license accepted
- Years of Experience: 3 years minimum required
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Position Duration: 13 weeks, starting 11/16/2026, ending 01/23/2027
- Responsibilities include circulating during high-volume deliveries (approximately 2,500 deliveries annually), providing care in postpartum, pediatric, and NICU units, and floating between units as needed.
- Prior travel experience is preferred.
- Floating: Float rotation may be required in other units.
