About the Role:
Handyman Joe is looking for a skilled and dependable Lead Technician to join our growing team in Omaha, NE This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced handyman professional to take ownership of projects, lead by example, and deliver top-quality craftsmanship to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute a wide variety of residential and commercial repair and maintenance projects
- Perform skilled trade tasks including carpentry, drywall, plumbing repairs, electrical fixes, and general maintenance
- Communicate directly with customers to assess needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
- Manage job site materials, tools, and supplies to ensure efficient project completion
- Mentor and guide junior technicians on best practices and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve on-site issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on every job site
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on handyman, general contractor, or skilled trades experience
- Proficiency in multiple trades including carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage tasks and support a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or project instructions
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality workmanship
